Well, WOC, this is the end of a fantastic year! Thanks to everyone for their participation, and we hope to see you next year! If you're not around, best of luck in your future endeavors.
In site-update news: The exec list has been updated for next year's exec, so check that out. There are pictures, some of which are embarassing. Also, the site will likely not be updated much over the summer, but check back in the fall for all of your WOC-related news!

Okay WOC, it's time to finish the term off! Still ahead we've got Laser Combat, Into the Wild, and one last overnighter at Pinery! Check the events page for full details, and best of luck with your end-of-year stress!
Let's get this new term in gear! Well, I guess it's already in gear.. We've had two great trips to Pinery and Algonquin which went off without a hitch, and several games of Innertube Water Polo which have been a lot of fun. But there's even more on the way! Events page is updated with many many details on our many many socials! It's going to be an active term, so we hope to see you out to some things. Check your email for info about upcoming everything!
Also updated, we've got the Trip Planner's Manual up on the Membership section of the page for your information. It may be useful for anyone planning on running for next year's exec to see what it takes to run a trip.

Oh sorry, what? I was too busy thinking about the awesomely good times holiday party coming up on Friday. Man, you should be thinking about it too. Details are in the email and on the Events page and on the calendar and EVERYWHERE. So get your holiday sweaters out from way down in the bottom of the cedar chest and get ready to have WOC-tastic times! This will be our last official get-together event thing before the new year, so we would love love LOVE for everyone to be there!
After a good two weekends at Tobermory, let's get together and celebrate how good they were! If you came and even if you didn't, check the Events page for details!
Also, keep your eyes on your email. We'll be sending out a reminder about our Holiday Thing of Awesome Fun! (there are also details about this on the Events page, if you're curious already)
Updates: Events page has some new stuff, like the Pre-Exam Holiday Social Thing, and cursory details about winter trips. Check it out.
Thanks to those who came out to the General Meeting this month. There will be NO meeting in December, as exam period will be in full and stressful swing by then, so your next chance to get Outdoors-Clubby is either the holiday social or the first meeting in the new year!
Tobermory: Have a good trip this weekend-ers! It's gonna be fantastic. Next weekend-ers, you too! Whooo!
I would like to make a sincere apology to anyone who wanted to sign up for Tobermory and was in the wrong room. This was entirely my fault, as it appears I forgot to change the room on the website from SSC 3108 to SEB 2100. I am very sorry to anyone who missed out because of my mistake, and will make sure it does not happen again.
In other, more cheerful news, thanks to everyone who came out to Costume Bowling, and congrats Matt Carroll for winning the Costume Contest. Upload your photos, folks!

I've written up a little guide about how to do this, since there seem to have been some issues with it. Don't worry, I've probably broken the gallery more times than anyone else put together...

And finally, GOOD NEWS! Anyone going on the Pinery trip: We WILL NOT be asking for any additional money! Hooray! Those of you who have already signed up: pay attention to Scott's email (the second Pinery Update email you received). Those of you who haven't signed up yet, simply ignore the part that talks about additional fees!
Two emails will be sent out today, both of which are VERY IMPORTANT for you, especially if you plan to come to Algonquin or Pinery! So make sure to check those out. If you do NOT receive an email tonight, it is possible that we have the wrong address for you. If that's the case, please email western.outdoors@gmail.com with your CORRECT address.

Just a reminder that TONIGHT is KICKOFF as well as PINERY SIGN UPS. For Pinery: Come to SSC 2036 at 5pm WITH your $35! For Kickoff: Come to SSC 2036 at 6pm. It'll be a good time. Free pizza, capture the flag, and some kind of movie?! Heck yes, folks.

Welcome to the Western Outdoors Club website! We've got a great year ahead, full of trips, intramurals, and plenty of socials. You might have seen us hanging out on UC Hill on Thursday... We attracted a photographer, so check the Gazette sometime soon for a possible picture. Clubs week is this coming week (Monday the 17th to Friday the 21st) so come on out and sign up!
