Well it’s almost March and that means the sap is running. On March 21^st we’ll be heading to a nearby Maple Syrup Farm for pancakes and syrup as well as enjoyable bonding time. The next weekend we’ll be running an overnight trip to Pinery Provincial Park as the year-end trip. Sign-Ups for both these trips will be at the General Meeting next week. The general meeting is being switched from Wednesday to Thursday so keep that in mind. There will be free Pizza for all! We’ll be holding elections for next year’s exec team so if you want to run or cast a vote make sure you are there.

Well I hope school is starting off well for everyone. In case you aren’t as interested in the weekend trips this semester as you were last but still want to participate in club events, come on out this Friday (January 15/10). We’re all going to meet at 6PM on the UC hill (out front of the UC with the one lonely tree and excellent slope). Jesse and Frank are bringing some crazy carpets and sleds so dress for the snow and let’s go tobogganing. Afterwards we’ll all head to the Spoke and grab some food and warm beverages while enjoying some quality group bonding. Don’t miss out!

Welcome to a new decade everyone, looks like it’ll be a good one! Things are starting off right away. We’ve got a general meeting this Wednesday at 5:30 in the UCC room 63 so I hope to see you all there. If you ordered a t-shirt you can pick it up then as well. If you take a look at the events section you’ll see we have the two winter camping trips coming up in the not-too-distant future so start thinking about them. James and I are running the Pinery trip which will be a fun overnight. As long as there’s snow bring your sleds, cross-country skis, snowshoes, and skates or you can rent them there. The Algonquin Snowshoeing trip will be running a couple weekends after so keep that in mind as well. Last year was awesome; we got to break the entire trail! Other than that, keep an eye on your email accounts, we’ll be doing a little New Years social as soon as Jesse picks one of the many activities London, Ontario has to offer.

Well we’re just about done the midterm season; hope everyone got to have fun on Halloween. Thanks to all of you folk that came out for the WOC Halloween on the Friday. The Bruce Peninsula hiking trips are coming up soon so everyone that signed up, it’s time to start getting pumped! Tomorrow (Thursday) is our pre-trip meeting in the University College (room 30) at 5:30PM so hopefully you can all come. Other than that we hope November treats all of you well and that we see you at the Christmas social which is still TBA.

Well hopefully everyone who went had a great time in Algonquin Park over Thanksgiving! We’re getting into exams so hopefully you are all doing well and still having fun in the little spare time you have. It’s about time to start getting ready for the next set of trips. Look on the Google Calendar and Events in our Events section of this website for the day trips and whatnot that are soon to occur. Our next big weekend trips will be occurring the November weekends of the 13/14/15 and 20/21/22. We’re going to do the sign-ups for these on the 29^th of October and the pre-trip meeting on the 5^th of November. Keep these dates in mind, we can only take 24 campers on each trip so the spots will fill up fast. An email will be sent out closer to those dates about the time and location. Have fun in the mean time!

It’s time for meeting to begin and sign ups to continue. We have a meeting for everyone who has signed up for Pinary on Monday, September 28^th at 6PM to 8PM in room 3028 of the SSC. Then Wednesday morning (30^th of September) we are having our sign ups for the Algonquin Trip at 7:10AM for drivers and 7:30AM for the rest. You should all be getting an email about the meeting location by Monday. Last but not least our first General Meeting will be happening Wednesday evening so keep an eye on the events section for the room number!

Hello WOC! Hope you're ready for a year of trips and events, because we exec are ready to go. Clubs week is going to be held on September 21^st to 25^th from 9AM to 4PM, so come on out to the table. We'll be somewhere in the UCC. If you have any questions or concerns before then feel free to shoot us an email.

We will be holding a Kick-Off event on the last day of clubs week (Sept. 25^th) from 5:30PM to 8PM we’ll be running it in room 2024 of SSC, ask us about it when you come by to sign up!
